 'm not what you call a regular guy. As far back as I can remember, I've danced to the beat of a different drum. Even as a child I was consumed with creative ideas. Having been born a military brat, I got to play with kids from every walk of life. I even had the privilege of living in foreign countries. Once I reached my high school years attending Coronado High in Colorado, I hung out with some really cool kids. I competed in sports such as football, gymnastics, track and skiing. It's the road trips I used to take with my friends in Colorado that spark some great memories. Once I graduated high school, I went on to attend college. First with my mom in community college- which was cool, and then to Gunnison Colorado where I boxed, skied, and hang glided. I also studied marketing and advertising.
  fter two years of college, I decided to try something new by moving to Washington State to live with my friend Dave. I left Colorado in January on my motorcycle with dog chain wrapped around the rear tire and bungee around the front tire. In route, I crashed four times, hitched a ride for me and my bike on a cattle truck, drove through a corner of Yellow Stone National Park in eight inches of snow and shoveled driveways for gas money while spending a week in a homeless shelter. I also spent a night in jail (as a guest) to get out of a snow storm. I gambled in Reno for gas money and hitched a ride with a moving van. I actually helped move a piano believe it or not. Once I got to Washington, I got a job teaching Gymnastics to kids ranging from 8 to 16 years old. I worked as a pressman in a plywood mill, dove commercially for geoducks, sea cucumbers, and sea urchin while living on a 32 foot motor boat. It was around this time I met the girl of my dreams.
  inda came into my life and I fell head over heels for her. After a short time I moved in with my future wife. I continued changing careers. I dove for a salmon company, ran a pressure washing business cleaning fleet trucks, while running a dive business cleaning boat bottoms. I also trademarked and sold Dive Hard tee shirts. After all those wonderful jobs, I landed what would be the longest lasting job I'd ever had. I was an enforcement officer for the Department of Natural Resources for almost twelve years working with some wonderful people. As of July 2011 I decided to leave my position with DNR to pursue a career as a Metal Artist. I can't wait to see what's around the next corner of my life.
